March 2024 – Coney Weston
The final walk of the Phasianus quarter saw the pheasants walking a figure of eight loop in mostly glorious sunshine. With several of the nide carrying various injuries and the return of Bryan after his hip operation, the pace was somewhat leisurely. A mixture of roads and reasonable off-road conditions rewarded the group with a bacon roll stop at the 9km mark. In the end-of-walk pub the group were treated to a pool demonstration by Dave & Mark O, while Andy entertained everyone with his trick shot extravaganza.
