February 2025 – Shouldham Warren
A walk devised by Mario saw seven pheasants turn up at Shouldham Warren for a longer outing around what was hitherto an unexplored part of Norfolk for the flock. A refreshing breeze accompanied the travellers on their journey as they were treated to an interesting selection of terrain, including forests and riverside paths. The more observant walkers commented on a small number of pylons that lined a pleasant and picturesque segment of the route, which eventually led to an enchanting bridge and the opportunity to partake in a game of Pooh sticks. Cake from Dave and cheese/bacon turnovers from Andy helped keep hunger at bay until nibbles at the pub, which served an underwhelming selection of beers.
