July 2023 – Ousden, Lidgate, Dalham
The pheasants’ bovine nemesis from previous years continued to bedevil the group. Both in terms of distance and difficulty, the route disappeared at times and once again caused the pheasants to split up in the final stages. Eventually the route was conquered and consigned to history. Mark C provided much mirth with a celebratory ninja-like forward roll in Ousden which took the flock by surprise, but once again highlighted how flexible and agile the species can be.
