April 2025 – Weeting and Grimes Graves
Despite the pheasants falling like flies due to various ailments, six intrepid souls made the start line in Brandon for this outing. The route took them through Weeting and past Grimes Graves before looping back into Brandon along a clear, but energy sapping river path. Despite the oppressive heat the group completed the arduous trek and then tried their luck in the dubious looking Ram Hotel. With a limited beer selection amplifying previous concerns about the venue, the situation was saved with the discovery of four comfortable sofas in the snug, allowing the weary group to collapse and deservedly rehydrate.
