November 2025 – Hartest
December saw the Pheasants perform the final walk of 2025, which had been postponed from the previous month. Five intrepid souls braved the seasonal conditions to make the start line in Hartest. Commencing with a steep upward climb, the group were soon into their stride as they passed Somerstown and Brockley with practically no one else in sight. The resident pheasant chef then brought out a sumptuous culinary spread and King’s Ginger fire water to lift spirits and incinerate tonsils, which was greatly appreciated. The walk finished at the Crown pub with a roaring open fire, cheese platters and customary pints.
