In the beginning…

The Pheasant genesis is mired in the mists of time, but exhaustive academic research has deduced that the following is the most plausible timeline.

8^th August 2020 – Inaugural Pheasant walk consisting of pheasants Tom, Tim, Stuart and Creeky on the Dalham Three Churches trail, as evidenced by the “before and after” picture below.

25^th October 2020 – Second Dalham walk and first appearance of Mark O.

13^th December 2020 – Infamous Snettisham walk, the “Mud Bath”:

5^th April 2021 – Tenuous evidence of a third Dalham walk.

25^th April 2021 – Ousden walk and first appearance of Adrian.

30^th May 2021 – Fourth Dalham walk, with Tom, Tim and Creeky mentioned in dispatches.

27^th June 2021 – First Holkham walk.

18^th July 2021 – First Pheasant altercation with cows, resulting in Adrian winning the Event of the Year.

17^th October 2021 – First Castle Acre walk.

5^th Dec 2021 – Second Holkham Walk and first documented mention of Dave, captured below.

December 2021 – First award ceremony, held at the Prince Albert. This saw the unveiling of the Stick of Doom, shown being wielded below by Creeky.

January 2022 – The Modern Era begins and first appearance of Mark C.
