2025 – Location map
This has been another successful year for the Dead Pheasants with eleven walks in the bag over 2025, covering 160km in total, the longest year on record. Despite a challenging year away from walking, the Pheasants managed to fit in walks, an away weekend for the 3rd year, as well as numerous social events. Dave and Bryan both managed to better their personal PBs versus previous years and we had good attendance throughout the year and although there wasn’t a walk where all Pheasants attended, two walks had eight attendees. Starting in Great Bricett and ending in Hartest, the Pheasants continued to cover further parts of Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire along the way.
This year continued with another Pheasant away weekend in May to Snainton, which was amazing and upheld the tradition of having glorious weather as well to boot. The location was once again inspired and the Pheasants enjoyed the hot tub, spacious lawns, local pubs and the countryside around Scarborough. The Camino de Canary finished the remaining stages and the attendees enjoyed an overnight stay in Walsingham to celebrate.
